In the folder of the Fibaro app (my version) type this:

    npm install --save https://github.com/athombv/node-homey-zwavedriver

It will download and install the zwave driver files and "installing" it
  • ok , did that before but get errors , see file
  • I've never seen these errors before  what program are you using.?
  • win10 and node.js cmd

    strange
  • @caseda i guess npm is trying to do a git clone of the zwave-driver and @djesko does not have git installed.
  • installing it now
  • Ah right, I totally forgot about installing git :no_mouth:
  • all installed now , lets add the device
  • get time out getting command class

HW switch connected to 212 works on/off and update in mobile and web

    Mobile card status updates on/off

Are you sure you've got the 212 and not the 222/221?

I see 2 relays while the 212 has only 1.

And I think the icons are just a typo somewhere
  • did add wrong ..looks lite that ....hehe
  • i have the 212 but did use 221 when adding , my bad
  • did use 212 no but gets same as pic ,
  • Hmm, I don't think it's possible to choose the wrong one. Or at least it shouldn't.
    So weird.
What type number does/did it state at the end of the main controller's name.

And the icons I will look into tomorrow, if the wifi works here
  • Fibaro Double Relay Switch (FGS-221 (id:4106)  but ita a 212
  • Hmm, really don't understand, both id's are different..
How many screws do you have on your module, to connect wires to

Wooh then maybe openzwave made a mistake :astonished:

I'll investigate more tomorrow, I definitely need some sleep now..

Super many thanks for testing @djesko

    It does sound very promising,
that it already triggers with S2, even with the wrong driver.

So maybe even an addon pull request tomorrow.
Let's hope the wifi works tomorrow
  • no problem , i need sleep to !

let me know when you need more testing
  • app update:
I've fixed the issues @djesko had with the icons and the wrong device being added.
and have put the developer branch now completely as a pull request.
I think the testing that was done yesterday was enough reason for me to say that input S2 triggers flows properly now.

So now it's up to athom to accept the pull request, but i think they will wait for emile to be back next week.
So if you want to test/use, you can pickup my pull request beforehand.
All the testing that can be done before hand (and thus being able fix bugs easy, if there are any) is always better

    Next-up:
Get the S2 of the dimmer (& v2) to work, without extra association.
Then the Roller Shutter (2) module will be easy to implement as well.
  • Will download and install the new app... Thanks
  • I have a probably stupid question, so sorry in advance...
On the fibaro-website I see that sensors will automaticly update their firmware. (http://www.fibaro.com/us/the-fibaro-system/door-window-sensor)
As they have no Internetconnection, that should happen through Homey. Does this work, or is there any other way to update the fibaro firmware?
  • @caseda, great job ! Many thanks in advance!
  • @fredsky ;
the only stupid question there is, is the one that is not being asked.
(unless its been asked too many times already.)

at the moment that function has not been implemented, and my guess is that it will not be implemented very soon.
There is more to it then just the command class that needs to be implemented, they also need a way to get the firmware update files from fibaro, and such.
And i don't think it's very high on the list of "needs to be implemented" since it's not a mandatory thing to add.

if you really want to update you could use a controller that does have the function.
That's the only way, there is no manual installation
  • @djesko, @blusser ;
    you're welcome

well there's something interesting @caseda , are you saying that if I'm using the homey as my main z-wave controller and add the Fibaro HC2 as a z-wave device it will be able to update the firmware? Then maybe the HC2 could be a device you can add via the Fibaro APP for this specific purpose?
