Just another Hue question and i did'nt wanna open a new topic for it:
Is it possible to set a Hex color for Hue lights?
Seems to me the option is greyed out in the flow cards.
Also when i set brightness to 100% the lamp turns to white instead of keeping the color he had.

the hue app is very lightweight still, I guess it will be updated by Athom as soon as there is more time. Missing feature for example:

    - scenes

    Maybe test This for scenes.
  • Sometimes I can't reach one of my 25 Hue lights with Homey. It's reachable with the (philips) Hue app though...... Is this a known issue?

Look at settings and app. It could be you have a yellow piramide with ! in it.
Then the app crashed. Happens to me once a day.
  • It seems I can't reach more than 10 lightbulbs.... will there be a fix? Looking at this discussion there are more people with this problem. Strange thing is I can't see all bulbs in the flow editor on the right either... anyone having this problem too?

U can't reach the bulbs like they are out of reach or u can't scroll enough to click on them?

My osram bulbs are not controllable anymore, they were before.

Hue app 1.0 now supports scenes and blinking!  :)

Add the hue-app to a flow for scenes, add a hue-device to a flow for blinking (and color, brightness, etc)

Nope, it is not bugged, it is actually all the scenes on the Hue bridge, I have tested this.
All deleted and changee scenes from the hue app, still remains on the hub.
It is a shortcoming of the official Hue app (not Homey Hue app)
  • The Hue bridge doesn't delete scenes, but marks them as 'can be deleted', in some documentation I read that the name of the scene gets an '!' in front of it. Most apps hide those scenes. I guess Homey doesn't.

thx, just noticed the issue there :-)

    Hmm. Great update :-(

Now none of my Hue lights work anymore.
Deleted all the Hue devices, Removed the App, Reboot, installed App
All lights are found okay, but report onoff:Invalid_type

Anyone have a trick on their sleeve to get it working again?

Not necessary, just disable/enable tbe app...
  • arthurarthur Member
    Weird,

After disabling/enabling the App many times in vain, this time it did the trick!
Event hough I don't understand it it right now, I won't have to sit in the dark tonight :-)

  • Homey reports lights are offline. When I run a flow with change color and long alert, only the long alert is triggered.
Will wait for next update of  Hue app / Homey firmware.

Just updates to 1.0.4. Stopped and restarted the app. Rebooted Homey. Lights still offline and no color change???
I run a flow with change color and long alert, only the long alert is triggered. So no difference with old app.
