Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for Homey login

woudanwoudan Member
For security reasons it would be great if MFA could be implemented for Homey logins for example just simple with google mfa services. Only with first login multi factor is needed on a new computer or mobile device. After the first time it wont be necessary for a while(or configurable).

At the moment everyone can just login into my homey via the homey cloud portal and i can't add extra security measures so my homey is only availible via vpn ect.

So if MFA could be implemented that would be great  !

(It would also be nice if we can see login logging. So we know who is logging in from where.)

Woudan

  • I agree with both, especially for people who use intelligent locks.

indeed agree this would be really nice addition.
Also useful when an alarm system, like Visonic, is linked with Homey.
