How can I control my 433MHz remote light switches with homey?

Hi,

I have a remote light switch on 433 MHz radio frequency.
How can I add that to homey? I read the device support page it is mentioned that homey can clone that signal but how can I go about doing that? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would start with the kaku (coco) app, there's a code checker in there. If you're lucky you can control it with kaku as a lot of brands are just simple copies of kaku. Other wise, you could decode the signal and write your own app like @MatjaLipu is doing in:

I have been successful using the action app for 2 el cheapo remote controlled sockets. So you could give that a try as well.

thanks rob. the action app is able to sense the buttons for my remote (when pressed) however it is unable to send the signals to turn the lights on/off when testing. The kaku app however does not pick up any signals at all.

any recommendations on what to do next?

Are the remote switches close by or located far away? For my garden lights it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't, they are more than 10 meters away with a concrete wall in-between. Everything close by works like a charm.

The receivers are just under the false ceiling with the down lights. With honey on the desk probably 2-5m away at most. It seems the app is not able to replicate the same signal out for transmission you think? Thanks

For me, the on and off buttons were switched. Have you tried that?
If homey can read the signal, it should be able to reproduce it, I assume...

The very old KlikAanKlikUit KAKU stuff (with the round dip / code switches) can be used with the Action app.
Choose the Eurodomestic type.

Model numbers that work fine now:
WST-8700 (YWT-8500) Wall switch.
WST-8800 Wall switch.
YC-1000 Socket. (copy remote signal)

I also have the WST-8800 Wall switch (bought this year). But it's not recognize with the "klik aan klik uit" app or the "Action" app. Any suggestion what I do wrong?

EDIT: It works! I chose the wrong switch.
