Login issue (A user with this email address does not exist.)

Im trying to login into my homey and got:

"The entered password is not correct. Forgot your password?"

Oke, this can happen, I mess up many things on my system . So I tried to recover my password but got

A user with this email address does not exist.

Do I have to wait a little longer(server issues) or is my account gone and do I have to sign up again?

  • Did you entered the correct email address?, the forum account isn't the same as your Homey account.

Yup. Only got one e-mail adress so why would it not recognize me

Google automatically puts the right email and password for me here so...

Well hope someone at athom can help me tomorrow.
  • has it anything to do with a @gmail address and dots? Look at issue #70 maybe it helps you if you know what happens...

  • Thnx I'll look into it. But still strange that it worked 2 days ago and now it doesn't.

Haha. Cool. When I try to register again ,my email is already in use.

So when try to login. I get wrong user or password

Whe I try to recover my e-mail doesn't exist.

But when I try to register my e-mail is already in use..

Dark forces are among us!

indeed seems to be linked when I removed the dots, i can recover my password

need to login without dots now,, strange that it went right for about 2 weeks.
  • So, Recover my Password for Gmail accounts works only with the base email adres (without dots and labels)
at the portal you can logon with both variants,
Gmail domain is limited to one loging for each mailbox so the email address will be normalized to check. ( dots and labels are removed.)
