    I am happily maried, thank you. I was not talking about myself off course! (And even with its disabilities, homey is still allowed to stay a while until issues are resolved. I think I have read men that had to remove the white ball from the premises....)
  • Very nice!
    Now we need a moderator or 2 to move some posts to the correct sections.
    No whining!
    As some would say: With <3

    In the beginning i think you need some to make sure all stay on topic, perhaps after the boost it is no longer needed. As mentioned, i'm available.

    U found 1 alr! @tunf ;
  • Or to tell some peeps to stay on-topic.
    Could be an advantage for the forums!

    How about just one Community Manager from Athom?

    Community moderators are not necessary. The community isn't big enough.
    On the other hand, they don't cost anything and they can't make it worse. (I'm not saying it's bad now, just saying there is hardly any conflict to make moderating necessary. It;s just the occasional moving of a topic. :smile:  )

    Hmmmmm.....Let the guys from Athom do some useful stuff maybe?
    And we have volonteers so......

    I dont see the need at the moment.. the community seems to mod itself quite good.. we dont always agree but it seems to stay civil. Most (note the "most") topics stay on topic for the most part. Adding moderators tends to add more discussion about the moderators. I feel that (at this point) the chances of adding something bad by accident is bigger than bringing improvments. The only "bad" thing about the forum is all the scattered new discussions popping up.. and the new forum look seems a good efford to make it more pleasing in that way.. i would wait and see how this change works out before adding more

    I cant really blame people for doing that.. do they need to start a new discussion? This is why i would like a completely free for all oftopic section somewhere.. where anyone can ask anything.. like a cafe.
  • No whining............. I <3 Forums!

    Think there is a lot of topics about Nest alr.
    No need to ask in the smoke alarm topic me guess.
    I blame them, They all need to go with blote sokken naar bed vanavond.

    /No whining..............! I <3 Forums!

    To do it yourself can takes too must valuable time you need for Homey.
    So wait first for a while but make it now ready to implement it quick if it is needed.
  • I confirm that community moderators are a great idea, so the Athom team can focus more on Homey. The forums are getting bigger over time and will explode eventually when Homey goes retail. Moderators can also help pointing questions to early topics which already have been answered and move/close topics when needed.
  • Nice look, but still no Dutch section...  :/

    And I still understand why they decide not to create one.. Perhaps when they have more international customers it will be an option?
  • A Dutch section would be stupid for the moment.
    There are not enough non-dutch people here.  90% of the topics would become Dutch and the foreign people wouldn't be able to find the info they need.

    Lol. Met blote sokken naar bed moeten ze zeker.

    Not everyone knows how forums work an most wont search the forums before posting.. this is something that no one on earth will change.. people just work in that way.
  • Hmm.. just reading my last comments . I am contradicting myself

    @emile
    Maybe mods are not such a bad idea.. but please use a someone who wants to be one just to be one.. on some forums the mods are just eikels

    And no Norwegian section either.. Or Swedish, or Danish or German or Chinese or...
  • Regarding the forum... What would be great is support for Tapatalk.
  • Great look for the forum! Can't wait to see the new website.

    Re: moderators: I'm all for it.
  • is it just me? Ever since we have the new layout I don't see the "new" indicators on changed topics anymore.
  • It's just you :smile:

    Maybe try to clear your browser cache?
