Master / Slave option for Homey
Hi all,
I would like to know if it is possible to connect multiple Homeys to each other in a master / slave config.
It's maybe expensive but i'm tinking about putting one in my living room but a also in the master bed room but want to be able to control everything from either location.
Using extender could work but then i need extenders for: microphone, speaker and IR.

This will be possible, yes. When you link multiple Homeys to the same user account, they can work together. You can use our interface to place each Homey in the correct room, so it knows which (IR) devices to control by which Homey. You will then be able to tell your living room homey to 'turn on the TV in the bedroom'
Best,
Stefan
You say user account... do i need a internet connection to use Homey? I hope Homey is fully standalone within the "home"network and doesn't need a "external"connection.

Homey uses the internet for voice recognition and registration. Also, it uses the internet to make your home controllable from outside, using the smartphone app. You can also use Homey without an internet connection, using your automated flows/scenarios, or by using your smartphone while you are on your own network.
Best,
Stefan
