Tv guide support

Is there any chance à tv guide service will be supported? Would be nice to automatically turn on the tv when a certain show starts.

    Last weekend I have searched of there is a api for a TV guide.
    tvgids.tv has one. I have send them a email to contact Athom but haven't heard anything.
    I can't make a app. I hope someone else does it.

    This sounds like something a developer could pick up, not Athom

    There are also a lot of sat received using open source software such as Enigma 2 which use epg tv guides. Maybe these sources can be used for the necessary information.

    You can make an app that presses the buttons on a remote but which button to press will differ from remote to remote so it's probably easier to do with the flow editor.

    There is a nice xml tv grabber https://github.com/tvgrabbers/tvgrabnlpy .
    I used it in combination with kodi.
